Dear Friends and Colleagues:

What an honour it has been to work with a dedicated and creative group of our chapter members to plan, design, and produce Congress 2008, and what an honour it will be to have you join us.

A great deal of thought, creativity and hard work has gone into these three days in November to make them the best philanthropic educational experience offered anywhere. We know that if each of you ask important questions, offer unique perspectives, engage in thoughtful dialogue, and warmly network with friends old and new that our success is guaranteed and our hard work rewarded.

We have a lot to offer each other. Congress gives us the time and the space in which
to share that knowledge and advice, so be sure to invest the time and attention
required to reap the benefits. Store the PDA, silence the cell phone… disconnect, and
you will be amazed at how much more you learn, how many more people you will
meet, and how inspired and refreshed you will feel. We have done all we can, the rest
is really up to you.

I look forward to connecting with you and learning from you. I am grateful to the
2008 Congress Committee – they have done an outstanding job and they have
truly been inspiring to work with. Thank you also to our outstanding presenters, our
wonderfully supportive sponsors and exhibitors and, of course, our terrific staff team.
