Carabram Brampton’s Multicultural Festival is celebrating 27 years in 2009. On the weekend of July 10, 11, and 12 you can ‘travel’ the world, without leaving Brampton.
Carabram provides an opportunity for families to "Tour the World" and experience the rich culture, food, crafts, drink and entertainment of different ethnic groups in Brampton and the surrounding community attracting thousands to this event.
Drive to the pavilions located in cultural centres, schools and rec centres around Brampton or you can hop on a Brampton Transit shuttle bus, for free, and travel to Bulgaria, Canada, Caribbean, Croatia, Germany, Hawaii, India, Italy, Macedonia, Myanmar, Philippines, Poland, Portugal and Ukraine.
Passports can be purchased for only $8.00 per adult from the information booths at Shoppers World Brampton, Bramalea City Centre, Canadian Tire, Royal Bank, and some buss terminals throughout Brampton as well as from pavilion volunteers. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
