New life from new flavours is the theme of this year's Celtic College and Celtic Roots Festival. However, in our celebration of the music and culture of the Seven Celtic Nations we haven't forgotten "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue."
Old is the best of traditional Irish, Scottish and Canadian music from legendary masters. New is the exciting music of Shetland. Borrowed are six masters from The Irish World Music Centre, University of Limerick and Blue is the Bluegrass of a phenomenal mandolinist.
The Celtic Roots Festival and Celtic College offers a tremendous diversity of Celtic musical, dance and craft art experiences unmatched anywhere in the world.

The Celtic Festival has grown to include the Celtic College and Kids Day Camp, 3 days of workshops for adults and children lead by internationally renowned staff. We're proud to introduce this year the Gairbraid Theatre featuring plays exploring Irish and Scottish history and Celtic mythology.
Every year the Festival is celebrated with a new and highly anticipated logo. This year's logo can be seen ghosted in the background. The creator, local Goderich artist Linda Wiebe, captures the spirit of the Festival in her work.
Be wrapped in music, stimulated by new performers, touched by the greatness of Celtic icons, and enriched beyond measure by the spirit that abounds. Join us and see why our festival was awarded The Best Cultural Event In Ontario by Attractions Canada in 2003.
"Goderich is a town of spacious avenues, haunting generosity, wide smiles and open doors ... come walk the walk at the friendly festival."
