With artists as diverse as Steve Earle, Air Supply, Allison Moorer and Canned Heat, this years festival will present a series of Headliners for all tastes and generations.

THE ORGANIZATION BEHIND FESTIVAL OF FRIENDS:

Hamilton Wentworth Creative Arts Inc. was provincially incorporated as a non-profit organization on July 30, 1974.

Creative Arts has been a registered charity since January 1, 1975.

OBJECTIVES:

To conceive, organize, promote and execture major special events in the Hamilton-Wentworth Region. The event themes highlight the richness of a particular component of the Canadian mosaic.

Events are produced efficiently by professional staff and well-trained, experienced volunteers. These events create a vehicle for tourism and educatuib. They nurture enjoyment of the arts and are programmed for family enjoyment and education.

The objectives are achieved primarily through the production major cultural events and ongoing programming.

OPEN MIC STAGE:  Saturday, August 9th: 12PM -6PM

A Festival First!! The Festival is opening up its "showcase" side-stage to all aspiring singer-songwriters to take their turn performing at the Festival of Friends.

HEADLINE PERFORMERS: All Weekend : 6PM - 11PM
