The first annual Made by Hand Show will take place on Saturday November 5, 2011 at the International Centre, Hall 1 in Mississauga.
The Made by Hand Show features original handmade work from more than 150 juried artists, artisans and designers from across Canada. Visitors can shop the best in handmade arts and crafts, meet the artists and learn the stories behind their work. The Made by Hand Show will showcase more than 30,000 square feet of a wide range of media and categories including wood, glass, ceramics, clothing, fashion accessories, art, jewelry, original paintings, photography, knitting, pottery and gourmet goodies. Bring the children for face-painting and henna art from local artists. With a variety range of prices and styles, there is something for everyone on your list. Don’t forget to pick up something for yourself too.
Door proceeds from the entire day, Saturday November 5, 2011, will benefit Crafting for a Cure. Crafting for a Cure is a not-for-profit registered charity that looks for opportunities to insure children are having a positive experience when a hospital visit is necessary.
The Made by Hand Show offers the first 100 shoppers a free swag bag filled with goodies from our vendors and sponsors. Doors open at 11:00am and will close at 7:00pm. Line up early for first pick of the amazing arts and crafts, while supporting your local handmade artists. Be sure to buy tickets for the 50/50 draw and amazing door prizes including a hotel package, $100 gift certificates, theatre tickets and fine art, all donated by our sponsors.
Admission at the door is only $1 each or $2 per family or enjoy free admission with any returned advertising promotional material. Open donations benefiting Crafting for a Cure are welcome.
