This unique and fascinating Jewellery Gem & Mineral Show will provide enjoyment for all. Exhibitors are selling goods related to the field of gems, mineralogy and palaentology. These goods come from all over the world and are imported by the exhibitor. Several jewellers with their own designs are selling or taking orders for special one-of-a kind requirements, finished in gold or sterling silver. There are also exhibitors selling cut stones, that is, faceted, en cabochon or other shapes finished and ready to be set in rings or other jewellery. Other exhibitors are selling fossils from several continents, semi-precious stone beads and materials which anyone can make his owen necklaces, from rough and finished lapis lazuli from Afghanistan. Opals from Australia. Amber from Poland. Unique crystal specimens from Morocco, Brasil, China, Peru, Africa, Canada the United States and India, carvings and figurins from jade, malachite, amethyst, quartz and other semi-precious stones. Members of Toronto-area gem clubs will demonstrate faceting and lapidary arts. Also The Canadian Gemmological Association will attend to answer questions and provide,at no cost, identification of gemstons for members of the general public.
