The first Total Health Convention and Exhibition was held at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto in 1978 and has since become an anticipated annual spring event. In the early years of the convention, the great pioneers of the natural health movement came to Toronto to participate in the show: Linus Pauling, Walter Hodson, Beatrice Trum Hunter, Paavo Airola, Bernard Jensen, Charlotte Gerson, John Christopher, Robert Mendelsohn, Ray Evers, Kurt Donsbach, Ann Wigmore and Jan de Vries.
Total Health continues to attract high profile leaders in the natural health field: Sally Fallon, David Suzuki, Gary Young, Hulda Clark, David Wolfe, Brian Clement, Len Horowitz, Udo Erasmus, Shiv Chopra, JJ Hurtak, Cass Ingram, , Chef Michael Smith and many of the innovative raw chefs of our time including Victoria Boutenko, Juliano, Renee Loux Koffler, Chad Sarno and Cherie Soria.
The show offers more than 60 international speakers on three main theatres, two exhibition hall demo stages, a raw café oasis, spa oasis and over 200 exhibits devoted to a natural healthy lifestyle.
