OUR HANDBOUND PAPER-PAGE ALBUMS are the original foundation of our collection and provide the pinnicle of quality and design in heirloom memory archives. Heavyweight acid/lignin-free pages in black, ivory or white are bound by hand in the Japanese top-stitch tradition. Each leaf has an elegant grosgrain hindge, allowing the album to lie open perfectly flat, enhancing both form and function. The pages are thoughtfully interspersed with spacers to accomodate mountings and to prevent yawning when the book is filled. A beautifully coordinated Japanese fly leaf is bound as the opening and closing page. Bindings are sewn in a style appropriate to the cover design, ranging from rustic knots to elegant bows.
